Thousands of gamers were left disappointed when copies of
blockbuster game Call of Duty failed to appear on their doorsteps.
Arguably the most popular game of the past few years, Call
of Duty Black Ops 2 broke records for the most pre-ordered game in history.
Unfortunately, gamers who pre-ordered the game months ago from outlets such as
Game, Amazon and Tesco for delivery on the release date were left waiting by Royal
Mail.
Many people rang the respected companies to find out why the
game they had paid extra to arrive on release day had not arrived. Tesco, Game
and Amazon laid the blame squarely on Royal Mail. Gamers have flooded forums
and tweeted Royal Mail, who have issued no explanation or response as why
copies of the game have not been delivered yet, and we look forward to hearing
their response.
